Dale R. Hair

Dale Hair is a principal and co-founder of KD3 Design Studio, Inc. Dale’s prior employment was twenty six years at a prominent Central PA architectural firm. Dale’s design experience includes multi-family housing, commercial, governmental, institutional and industrial project types. His work includes numerous renovation projects, additions to existing buildings along with new construction projects.

Dale is a strong advocate for sustainable or green design. He believes that sustainable design is good design practice that is incorporated into all projects. Sustainable design is part of his normal design philosophy and daily work ethics. Sustainable design knowledge is a continuing educational process that he includes as part of his normal professional development. Current educational sessions involve learning more about Passive House, Net-Zero energy and Biophilia.

Dale devotes many volunteer hours as a mentor for the ACE (Architecture, Construction, Engineering) Mentor Program. Dale is a Central Pennsylvania Board member and a steering committee member for the Cumberland-Perry Counties branch.
